Low-Sodium Tomato Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

Italian seasoning blend
Black pepper

Ricotta cheese

Instructions
Dice tomatoes and mince garlic. Finely chop the mixed greens and set aside.
Add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and seasoning. Simmer on low-medium heat for ~5-8 minutes or until the sauce is starting to thicken.
Add in the chopped mixed greens. Simmer for another few minutes until the greens are cooked and the sauce is thick.
Add black pepper to taste.
Mix the sauce with your pasta and (optionally) ricotta cheese. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you don't have Italian seasoning mix, you can blend your own! The mix I have contains marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano, and basil.
