Ingredients

  • 1/4 block firm tofu
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Drain tofu and pat dry. Cut the tofu into cubes (or strips for younger babies).
  • Add oil to a pan and cook the tofu on low-medium heat, a few minutes per side. You don't want the tofu to be crispy since we are serving it to baby; we are going for cooked through and barely starting to yellow.
  • In a small bowl, mix peanut butter and 1-2 tsp of water. You can gently heat it in the microwave to help it mix better.
  • Add the thinned peanut butter to the pan and coat the tofu. If the sauce is too watery, cook for a little longer until it thickens. Enjoy!

Notes

Chunks of nut butter are a choking hazard, so please make sure the peanut sauce is thinned and/or there is only a thin layer on the tofu.
